Five from CVC Named All-American

Five players from the CVC have garnered All-America status from the American Volleyball Coaches Association for the 2026 season. Will Sierer and Gehrig Tolman were both named to the Second Team while Chris Mellor, Tyler Phillips, and Brady Wiggers picked up Honorable Mention honors.

This year's CVC Champion, Juniata College, led the way with three players receiving honors. Will Sierer, a setter, totaled 980 assists and 39 kills with 16 service aces this season. He ranked 7th in the country in assists and was named the CVC Tournament MVP while also being named to the NCAA Regional All-Tournament team and First Team All-Conference. Chris Mellor, a middle, hit .463 this season while adding 47 blocks and being named First Team All-Conference. Tyler Phillips, an outside hitter, finished with a team high 304 kills while hitting .281 this season. He added 69 blocks and 35 aces while being named First Team All-Conference.

Gehrig Tolman, a setter at Southern Virginia University, was chosen Second Team All-America; marking his second straight season to receive that honor. The junior finished with 874 assists and 62 kills and was selected as the CVC Player of the Year and a First Team All-CVC player.

Brady Wiggers, a freshman at Marymount University, adds to his accolades. The CVC Rookie of the Year was also named the Region III Newcomer of the Year to go with his All-Region and All-Conference honors. He finished the year with 315 kills and 99 digs with 38 blocks.
